The Oakhurst Fire Department says it would have responded to the fire that claimed the life of 46-year-old Naomi Clark. Sapulpa's team arrived to battle the blaze, but it was too late.

Wank, wank, wank. I've been onscene with Oakturd twice while they were fighting fires, and can vouch that Sapulpa NEEDS to have their district. I have tried to dispatch them on calls a dozen times where no one even answered the phone, and had to call Sapulpa or Berryhill. they're just flapping their mouths.

Sounds like Sapulpa needs to quit acting like a big baby. The unfortunate thing is that they could of saved someone's life by allowing the other department to assist. They need to take lessons from some of the metro area OKC, Moore, Yukon etc all don't hesitate to call for mutual aid. After all no matter whom you work for they all are on the same team. It comes down to money Sapulpa probably scared the will lose some revenue or funding by allowing other departments to assist them. Alot of people bash small departments however its been my experience often these departments are alot of times not saying all the time as well trained as paid departments and some even better.

Oakturd, LMAO,

I don't know anything about the situation over in the Tulsa metro but I know about OKC.

I'll not mention any names but yes, there are a few cases around here where the VOLS. have better response times and overall are better at taking command of a scene than even some of the "PROS" :D

What? They could have saved someones life? How do you figure?

It is one of those maybe things, but based on their history, maybe not. You have no
basis for your statement.

I don't even want to get started on it just some departments need to loose the ego and do whats right for the public for whom they are paid to serve.
