Sheriff Deputies in Orion Township responded to a Verbal Domestic in the area of Lapeer Rd and Brown Road at about 2300 on friday night. When the first deputy arrived she called for priority and backup was started priority 1. As second car arrived, The female deputy was in the process of handcuffing the male suspect when he bolted down the street with handcuffs on. A breif foot pursuit was engaged and suspect was lost near the McDonalds. Deputies called for K9 assistence and Oakland County Air 2 was quickly overhead. At about Midnight, someone flagged a deputy down and stated a male matching the description was running through his backyard. K9 followed the footprints in the snow and made contact with the subject in an apartment complex at Lapeer Road and Greenshield. The suspect gave up peacefully, and was taken into custody by Sheriff Deputies.
