I have a BC898T. This box cant go digital, but I have Oakland FD on it... I programed it just like I should have and for the most part it works... The problem that I have is that the main dispatch channel seems to just go crazy sometimes... It makes this crazy noise for like an hour straight and then just stops... Again, I would like to say that most of the time the box works fine and picks up all of Oakland... I did a little research and found out that not only is Oakland an EDACS system but its also AEGIS. That being said, do I need a box that recieves digital, for Oakland to stop acting up on me? Also I wanted to say that when it is making that noise I can go up to the box and press scan again and it will start scanning again, but then just pick that noise up again after a few minutes... What do you guys think?
