For those that have not seen the new Chargers completely decked out, I thought I would throw up some pics for ya. These were taken at the MWC Operations/Substation Center at S.E. 29th and Midwest in Midwest City.

I actually saw one on a traffic stop last Sunday at 44th and Sooner. These cars light up REAL nice.

The ones with Hemi's are supposed to be good for 160. One of the hemi ones got tested on I-35 around the Edmond area but details about top speed were not released.

Most Oklahoma roads are not good enough to safely handle the high speeds some of these cars are capable of. That's how I feel about it. 110mph on the turnpike on the way to OKC last month was plenty fast for me and I didn't do that for very long. It was a smooth cruise at 85 though.

Mannford PD has ordered two. I think they are slick looking cars!

I understood they asked the city council for them & were shot down?

BTW, do you dispatch at Sandsprings, AsstChief?

Those cars have balls! Nice pics Don!

The LED Stars are a nice touch on the tag and grill. Anyone know which color scheme they went with for the stars?

They are red and blue strobes. Thanks for the compliment. My 18-75 lens actually broke the otherd day. Very upset. I bought a standard 50mm, which is actually closer to a 75mm on the Digital Rebel. It works really good, but is more for portrait work than anything. The next major lens I get will be thee 100-400mm with Image Stabilization. At $1600, it will take a while to save up for it. I have been taking tons of pictures to get used to all of the different settings.

I have now decided that my wife is getting a Nikon 20D and I am keeping the Rebel. I am getting into photography again and I must have more toys!

Mannford Police Chief asked for 8 cars on a lease-purchase deal. The board approved 2 new chargers and 2 used Kansas Highway Patrol cars. I know Mannford does need cars badly, but I don't think they could have been able to afford 8 all at once.

Yes Phil, I dispatch at Sand Springs, volunteer with Keystone Fire, and work part-time on Mannford Ambulance.

They look like the TIR3 or the 911EP LED Stars. Either one would be a deviation from the LEDX lightbar though.

Thank-You for posting those pictures. I have passed by there several times hoping to see a painted Charger, but all they have are the ones sitting out getting ready to be painted.

Just wondering if anyone has a picture of the console in an OCSO Charger? Or even in a regular OCSO crown vic? How about the radio rack?
