Odd Dispatch Request

This evening i heard a request from a patrol unit for the ME's phone number and for a Homicide Detective.

District 2 MCPD...i am betting that this will not be on the news. did anybody hear about this?

Why is this odd? The officer obviously came upon a death and notifying the ME and a detective is routine.

I dint hear the call. But it could have been a check on the welfare call. Neighbor may not have seen there neighbor for a couple of days.
