Has anyone heard traffic on any of these frequencies? If so what type of trunking system are they utilizing now?

It used to be one of the LTR based systems like LTR-Net, MultiNet or Passport. I never had anything that would decode it and there aren't any close enought for me to receive all the time so I never figured it out. I don't know if it's still on the air. Looks like it was removed from the database.

I know they used to run a passport system using Motorola cdm1550LS+ vhf radios. Back in 2021 and 2022 they were starting to switch over to Kenwood nx5000 series mobiles but haven't heard anything on anything on the trunking stuff.

In the mid 2000's, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) put together a statewide VHF LTR PassPort system. It had multiple channels and could pass transmissions from site to site. The idea was to bring other state agencies on board. I remember listening to Woodward County Emergency Management testing with the State EOC in Oklahoma City.

Unfortunately, the LTR PassPort technology was purchased by competitor Motorola who discontinued support in 2015.

Motorola wanted PassPort users to upgrade to their MOTOTRBO digital radios. Instead, ODOT took apart their sytem and reused the repeaters in analog mode. ODOT uses contractors in the OKC metro area, so there's no traffic here. But I can hear occasional traffic on the repeaters in Welston and Guthrie. It's pretty quiet unless there's something going on like winter weather.

EachPassport site had three repeaters. ODOT kept the licenses showing three frequency pairs at each site, but I have only heard one active repeater at any location. The data on the curent ODOT frequency page is pretty old. 151.025 MHz, 151.040 MHz and 151.130 MHz were the channels used before the PassPort system. The licenses are still valid, but most of the frequencies have probably changed. Anyone want to do some field research?

In addition, a few ODOT supervisors have OKWIN radios in their trucks and monitor the troop they are located in. I hear DOT 101 here in Troop B talk to troopers often during major MVAs and during winter weather events. Like Fast2 said ODOT contracts out in OKC as well as here in Tulsa through C-P Integrated Services. I also hear the same ODOT supervisors use 151.025 PL 77.0 analog daily and they call it the Tulsa shop.

With this weekend's forecasted snow storm coming in might be a good time to give a listen to all the VHF frequencies in your area across the state and see what PL and DCS tones are being used. Not trying to hype it up but this sounds like it could be a record breaker. We shall see. Stay safe out there.

And if any Tulsa area folks can verify ODOT Contractors on the Chickasaw Personal Communications System, I'd appreciate it. I always thought it odd they would contract with a trunked system in one area and not in another, but it probably makes sense to someone.
Also, keep in mind the talkgroups may have changed. Some of the talkgroups in the OKC area changed about the time the system went to a tier 3 system and the Tulsa C-P talkgroup was submitted in 2017.

I did not hear a peep on the CPCS system, using an SDS200 and a TRX2. The SDS200 shows signal strength on the Tulsa site, but no comms. Ran the TRX2 in both Trunking and DMR Conv. and no traffic so I don't know what C-P is using in the area.

CPCS isn't correct in the DB. I've been trying to make sure I have it 100% right before submitting, but I believe this is correct. Most the frequencies aren't in the FCC DB for them. And they have some weird ChID values and frequencies, but it tracks using DSD.
