go get a pair of Metal-Hydrade <-- whatever they are called. on a full charge, i get about 4-7 hours usage depending on how i keep my volume levels. use heaphones..... make that number about 6-9 hours.

2 allways charged and ready to go, still it doesn't compare to my 95.
And I can't use headphones, since I usually keep the scanner in my car, next to the 95

Frequency Counter Function

Hey radio type people.. I have a Pro-83 and have just popped it into Frequency Counter mode (Y'know - the old HOLD-0-3 trick) but I really have no idea what it's doing...

Any pointers etc??

Example when in AIR mode, it's shows freq's outside of the airband range etc...
