BCD436HP/BCD536HP: Offset frequencies

Living in europe and travelling to the US on a regular basis, I figured I'd go for a scanner that can do Trunking and the Digital modes.
But buying the unit just for the US seems overkill at 400+USD
So can the BCD436HP scan frequencies where the centerfrequency of the channel can not be evenly divded by the channelwidth?

Page 32 of the x36HP manual describes how to change the default settings for bands (including modulation type and channel spacing). Change the defaults to match the settings in your region, or if you travel a lot, make them all 2.5 KHz. THat will slow down searching a band, but allow you to set any reasonable frequency.
