If you're looking for it to be depreciated in the database, then a submission would be proper route. But that of course is after someone confirms there is no activity on the freqs because I am pretty sure systems do not get removed because of an expired license.

How long would you need them monitored to determine they are no longer? I have not listen to them, but I'll set a bank to monitor and record.

I would scan all freqs listed on that license and since it’s marked as trunked, if no cc activity , then I would submit.

Don't know if this has anything to do with the name on the sign in the above post...

It's LTR, so there would not be any CC activity. If it were active, there would likely be at least one freq with an LTR beacon. Although the average listener would not know how to tell it was an LTR beacon.

Of course, the license expired 10 years ago and nobody had ever reported a talkgroup on that system since it was added to the DB way back then. Pretty common for a lot of the old LTR systems up in Northern Ohio. People ran LTRAnalyzer on them, or some other LTR decoder, and determined they were online based upon beaconing, but it never got any further than that.

I have not heard that system in years and stopped monitoring it. I did find some new LTR systems in the area on

452.3625 (2) - seems to be Avon senior trans and Lorain school busses have not found the other LCN's

422.8250 (2) - ?

451.7000 (1)
451.8750 (2) 01-150 Unknown

422.3000 (1)
422.5500 (2)
422.8750 (3) 01-005

Not 100% sure on the frequency being part of the systems but LCN's should be correct.

Fwiw, the sign out front is gone now. I think they abandoned the place. But that would only be a control point anyway.

Also, if you look at the license, you'll see the system was at Elyria & Dunton on the big tower behind Sheffield Center. Futronics in Fremont has stuff there now.
It used to be WZLE FM, but that's been gone for a long time too.
