OHP Plan?

Hi guys, I'm programming OHP in tonight and I know it's motorola II, smartzone, but my scanner is asking for what plan under control channel only mode, it gives me 4 choices, what is OHP's "plan"?

Thanks

The correct plan is (Plan 1) however seeing that you are in Elk City, OHP is on low band in your neck of the woods. You Headquarters is out of Clinton and it is Troop H.
OHP Troop H (Clinton)

OHP Low Band VHF

Troop H headquarters is in Clinton. Troop H includes Beckham, Custer, Dewey, Roger Mills and Washita Counties.
All Troop H communications are on low band VHF.

Right, I'm monitoring Low band and UHF, but I also receive Geary's 800mhz repeater on good days and I'm planning on a trip to okc next week, thought I'd listen in... Does everyone just enter all the control channels in one bank and do cc only? sounds easy if it works that way.

btw, if your in Elk City, you can monitor the hospital where I work on 154.515 pl 123.0

Depends on your scanner. My 780 allows multiple trunked systems either in regular trunked mode or control channel mode. I prefer to put all the freqs in on known systems in case they change control channels. You can use CC mode to track a new system if you don't know all the freqs.

Ref Edmund on I35 they may have gotten a grant like Okla county did to do I35 drug interdiction. I35 and I44 are main drug routes.

K5mar the okla county deputy was probably trying to figure out what planet you were from cause of all the antenns  Hinestly a few months ago there was a bolo for a impersonator/wantabe that had alot of antennas mayb it was clicking in the back of his mind??

No doubt! But there are no markings or lights on my truck, so a quick look confirms that I'm just another one of those nutty amateur radio operators and/or storm chasers (both actually). Being as it's red, many think I'm working for Ch. 9, but actually I'm a stringer for Ch. 5. I wanted a white truck, but it's difficult to get picky when you're buying used!

Having been on the job myself, I'm always friendly to the officers I see. The least I can do.
