I just made a trip from Lake Keystone to Sandsprings and back.
On the way, there was 3 OHP units parked in the inside lEast bound lane with emergency lights on. They were about 1 1/2 miles east of HW 151. The troopers were wandering around on the shoulder of the outside lane. There was no civilian car or person present. One of the troopers had what looked like a blue clipboard, but no paper on it.
When I came back from Sandsprings, about 20 minutes later another trooper had joined them. They were still walking around on the shoulder. They didn't appear to be looking on the ground for anything. The trooper with the blue board was holding it up in front of him with both hands. I heard nothing on OHP freqs.
Anybody have any idea what they were up to??????????????
Why were they parked in the passing lane and not on the shoulder??
