OHP Turnpike Units

It is my understanding that while OHP has a significant number of units specifically assigned to patrol major turnpikes (under normal circumstances), the reality is (due to a relative shortage of troopers) that turnpikes such as Will Rogers and the Cherokee turnpikes usually have only two units actively patrolling during the day shift. And that at night, based on how busy OHP is, some turnpikes (specifically the Cherokee turnpike) may only have one trooper actively patrolling.

Is this correct?
