Nothing even close to most of your stuff which so sweet to look at. My two scanners are in the family room, nothing close to dedicated rooms. I'm lucky, my wife actually got me into this, because she loves listening to the police stuff. We did the iphone crap for a while, but limited. I did have crystal units way back with my dad, Our oldest is actually a wheel in the local FD, so it's fun when we hear him on the scanner. I have a SDS200 and a BCD996P2 for analog except 2 systems. I bought the 996 without research, mistake, but it's actually a great scanner if you don't deal with simulcast. Buses (they crack me up and some forestry). I usually turn them on around 5:30 AM. All of you have helped me get over the hump of programming these things. Long blah, blah, so picture.

If you're enjoying it, that's what matters.

We all want that newer/better/more stuff/more MORE radios, but it really comes down to personal enjoyment. Honestly, having separate scanners for digital and analog is like running a stroker with a Holley 4-barrel!

There's some really sweet rack setups here. There's also a certain segment of the membership that has dozens and dozens of radios. DO NOT ASK US WHERE THEY ARE!!!

And the squared-away ones have just what they need to hear what they want.
