Your suspicion is correct. In the link, it says it's a utility. It is Kentucky Utilities / Louisville Gas & Electric.

When I lived in Kentucky in the early 2000s, KU was the electric utility in central Kentucky (Frankfort, Lexington, Richmond). LG&E is, as indicated above, Louisville Gas & Electric which is the electric utility for the Louisville area.
