OKC Area Scanner Meeting-April

Hey all! Just about April get together time!

How about April 4th (First Tuesday) at the Chinese Super Buffet in the 4600 blk of W Reno (West of Meridian ON Reno, not the one south of Reno on Meridian@I-40)?

The other date is April 11th (Second Tuesday). Open to other food/date suggestions. Western Sizzlin was a good location where we were able to move a bunch of tables together. Even had a few more new faces this last go around. We missed a few others though. We had a few new hams that got their license last month. One even found out his new call at the meeting!

If you are needing help with a scanner or ham radio this might be a good opportunity to come and get some help. Between all of the brains at the get together I bet there is someone who can straighten it out for you.

If you are new and unsure of what the nature of the get together is let me assure you of one thing FOOD! We generally just get together and eat a meal and talk about radios or whatever else comes to mind. It is totally and completely informal.

I like the ideal of the WS since you can can scoot tables together. You can only do so much with round tables @ the CSB.

I vote for the 11th can make it that night for sure the 4th my job has me in North Carolina. The 11th is good. I am up for anything.

I just found out that there are a few of us (4 or 5) who will be tied up until as late as 7:3o PM. For those of you who get there on time, know that there will be a few coming late, but we will be there. Save us a seat, and some food!

Who will be late so I know whom to look for ? If I get there early usally look for everyones car before heading in. I maybe a little late myself but will be there for sure????
