Pizza buffet sounds good to me. I'm good for any date except the 28th.

I think that a pizza buffet is a good idea even though I'll have to gum it, but you are right that I remember that place being a Shakeys. I also remember Shotgun Sam's. Here in MWC, we had Ken's Pizza on Air Depot which is now a Chinese place. Ken's had a mini pickup with an oven in the bed that they used to make deliveries.

Del City can have some interesting and unique radio traffic when the mood strikes it.

And lemme guess .. you gotta cross a time zone too, eh?

The time zone isn't so bad. It's that international date line that's the pain. It puts me a day behind everyone else - that's my excuse anyway, and I'm sticking to it :wink:

Thanks for reminding me about Shotgun Sam's. There used to be one at 39th and May that we went to after the stock car races at the fairgrounds. I had forgotten about that.

(Although, most "old-timers" I know goto bed much earlier than you posted, so I'll say y'all aren't in that category...but there is Woody at 6:42 AM....)

But seriously, I do appreciate new suggestions for places to meet & eat. I'm up for whatever is good over there on the east side this month.

Dude, I get excited about all this radio stuff and people to talk to that might know something about the radio stuff too! It seems those kind of people are getting harder and harder to find...eating at new places is fun also, so this is almost the best of both worlds.

Anyhow, meeting is TONIGHT!!!
