Has anyone heard any Chatter on these TG's.
I have them programed in but haven't heard anything, are they still in use?

Emergency Talk Groups

A post in the Forum several years ago said these were the TG’s that radios switched over to when the emergency button on them was pushed. I recently heard one of them being used with the dispatcher directing an officer through how to reset his radio after he hit the emergency button by mistake so they must still be used for this purpose. The emergency button doesn’t get pushed often which is why little is usually heard on these TG’s.

It would be wonderful if someone would submit to the Database which police service areas these TG’s are used for now after the redistricting. These TG’s are last vestige in the data base of old letter divisions. If someone who knows what areas they’re assigned to now would submit that info, that would get all the TG’s in the data base lined up with the new districts.

Well Shoot....I thought this thread said "Sam Adams" instead of "Old Adams"...dang, I was thirsty there for a couple

Oh and if anyone has the above info please submit it through the submission process so that one of us Admins can update the Charlotte info...thanks!

These channels have in the past been used for surveillance.
But lately they have been pretty quiet.
