I have the newest gear.... and a very old cool analog scanner that belonged to my Father-in-law. It is a Robyn that takes crystals. The weather crystal still is a working frequency.
Ottawa County. I'd love to try to find some old frequency crystals still operating out there. A possibility? Or a pipe dream?

The Vintage Scanners group on Facebook looks to be a good source of crystals. If you are on facebook, I suggest that as a potential resource.

Thank you! The first thing I need to find out is what crystals I need. I wonder where such a list of still used analog frequencies could be found. Seems like some marine channels and your random types still might run on an analog frequency but I don't know if such a list exists.
