old scanner needs crystals

I saw some on ebay the other day. Last time I bought some was about 12 years ago at Radioshack but betcha they don't have them anymore unless you can find one that has some old stock laying around....Good luck

Actually I wouldn't count Radio Shack out just yet... I ordered a crystal from radio shack only a few years ago. You have to go in and tell the guy and they order them for you. Tell him the frequency you need and they put in an order and it'll get shipped to your house.. I think it costed $18 for the whole thing shipped.

They're not listed in any catalogs or on the site, but I think it's still something they do but you have to ask.. I remember that was the case for me..
