hello what are unidens older handhelds that can be made to recieve digital with the digital card believe thats what its called and where would one go to try and purchase if you still can thanks

That would be the BC296D & BC250D. The only way you are going to get one is to buy it used.

Just remember that the 250D will not be upgradeable for the 800 Mhz rebanding.
