Conditions very odd lately secondary to this goofy weather, PA and New York tonight.

I have an Omni X mounted in one of my ponderosa pine trees at about 45’ it picks up well out to
150 miles. Also have the DPD antenna for ADSB and it picks up out to 225 nm.
Both are extremely well built and weather the elements great here in Central MT.

I have both of these scanner antenna's out on my fourth floor balcony facing north and get good results from both of the antenna's

I pick up a VHF fire from Red Lodge to my south. The repeater is up high and my qth is higher than the surrounding
terrain.

The thing about the Omni X that I find is it is directional without a doubt ..I still use the Sirio Discone outside on my MFJ Tripod but in bad weather condx etc. I use the Onmi X (inside) . ..Marcy
