As many are aware I currently provide 5 separate 24/7 feeds from the Denver area and these have been very popular over the last few years. Regrettably around June 15th these will go silent because we are in the process of moving away from the Denver area so I will no longer be able to provide, what I feel at least are very valuable resources especially for those outside the monitoring range including soon to be me as well.

My current set up, but that certainly could be changed:

1. Denver FD & EMS
2. CSP
3. Air Medical, Evergreen FD, Mutual aid channels
4. East and South Metro agencies
5. West and North Metro agencies

I encourage no, I strongly encourage anyone to consider taking over at least one of these feeds and hosting; it’s free folks via a variety of options including Shoutcast, Teamspeak, WMP, Live365, and my recommendation is Proscan.

Please contact me directly via pm or jimmnn@comcast.net if you have any questions or are interested in hosting. I will even provide the dedicated feed computers and most of the scanners as well if needed as well as a hands on tutorial in getting them operational and keeping them running. All you need is an understanding spouse and a reliable internet connection.

Think Larimer County is covered pretty well with Rick's feed but what is needed is Weld and Boulder City.

I'd Love to but......

1.) I don't get reception of any of them (except maybe DTRS, but I don't know since I
don't have a capable scanner)

2.) I'll hopefully be moving out of state in the near future

So Jim, where are you going??
You have been a great asset to this hobby in the area. I know where ever you end up, the local area will greatly benifit from your expertise.

Very sorry to all. I just jumped to conclusions that Jim was leaving the state. I had no knowledge of his plans. I just assumed. I think Jim is a great guy, no matter where he will be.

Do yagi antennas pointed in the direction of Denver not work? I hear Denver from Fort Collins.

The Bailey school shooting, I heard that too and have it all on CD!

Oh wait, I think I know why. That was someones radio being affiliated with a closer tower, if I can remember right.

I have Feed 1 (Denver) covered and Feed 3 (North Metro area) assigned and Feed 4 (Aurora and South Metro areas) thanks to those who have stepped forward.

Still have an extra computer, monitor and P96 scanner for anyone willing to cover a feed for CSP and/or air medical channels is what I am envisioning.??

Thanks Jim<

North Metro area feed is also now operational once again using a 996T so you will hear all departments such as Brighton, Thornton, North Metro and Broomfield who are mainly affiliating with 700MHz sites these days; direct url is www.live365.com/stations/jimmnn3

This feed will also probably move to Proscan so you can watch the radios display real time, once the 996T is supported.
