Ontario Canada Frequency list ?????

Just wondering if any one in Southern Ontario Canada has a list Utility frequencies they are picking up to give me an idea of what I possibly could pick up from Fort Erie Ontario Canada.

You're really asking a lot here. Anyone that has a frequency list that they use is liable to have it slanted toward their particular interests, whether it would be maritime, military, aero, digital - there's quite a list of possibilities.

Building your own list is a far and away better idea. You will learn what you enjoy hearing, where the strengths and weaknesses of your system (antenna+radio) are, and something about propagation in your area.

I would start by taking a look at the ODXA Beginner's Corner, which will have all manner of tips and tricks that you may not know about. Then look at our HF Gateway; we have a section devoted to Utilities, and there's a link to our HF Propagation article which will start to teach you about how to understand how HF propagation works. It's not like scanner stuff, which is generally anytime, day or nite (particularly so in the public safety realm). There are certain times of the day you want to be tuning up, or down at nite

I'm sorry if I have asked for to much, I thought it would be interesting to see what other people in my neck of the woods were picking up and what kind of utility frequencies they were enjoying listening too. I know that just because they could pick up these frequencies does not mean I could, I was just curious on what other people in this part of the world were listening too. I know that there is no better list of frequencies I will find then the frequencies I will log on my own, I learned this from the Scanner Radio Hobby I have been in for over forty years.

Here in SE Michigan when I'm tooling around in the garage I set my radio on 8918USB and listen to the commercial airlines. There usually is traffic most of the daylight hours from 1400z to 2300z. There are many other frequencies for the airlines and you will read about them in the previous posts websites others have offered.
