I saw a cruiser with four antenna's running across the top of the back window, not on the window but on the roof. They were the same 800 Mhz antenna's that London PD use. First time I have ever seen that?

what did it have? the usual 2 whips on the trunk VHF & UHF and the 2 pancakes on the rear roof? If it has 2 pancakes they could be used for MDU's

It had the usual vhf/ uhf located in the usual position and then the four pancakes that ran in parallel to the top of the rear window.

I think there was a thread in this a couple of months ago and the conclusion seemed to b that they were for the 2.5G cellular networks (1xRTT and GPRS/EDGE). Apparently they are used for the MDU or MDT.
