Yes; I'm using the blacklist on one particular system to filter out all the encrypted talkgroups. Seems to be working well.
Ah yes. If that specific tgid only contains encrypted traffic then blacklisting is definitely the way to go. If there is a mix of encrypted and unencrypted traffic, you can use the "--no-crypt" command line option to suppress the garbled encrypted audio. The downside of the latter approach is that the app will remain on the encrypted channel for the duration of the call even though it won't make any noise.
