Did the 800 MHZ frequencies for Orange change. Ever since Central "took over" 339, I am not hearing anything, even on the OC 911 Polling and Graham, Arden, Beacon Police.

I know it is not a full take over, but it is the best word to describe it.

Since when did Central "take over" 339? The Sheriff's Office still maintains it's own dispatch (04-021 on NYCOMCO 800) as does Central for dispatching. I hear them both right now on VHF (both 911 Polling and MRD) and 800 off Beacon, Arden and Graham towers.

Could you shed some more light on this alleged "take over?"

All activities not directly related to sheriff functions ie. Traffic Stops, and calls not called into 339 will now be handled through Central. All Warrant Checks will still be through 339.
Previously, if Central got a call on county property they would landline 339, now they do it themselvs

This is coming directly from a deputy sheriff who frequently works in communications.

Of course this was on 1/31. The next day Central got hit with about 294 accidents, so it very well could have gotten changed back once they realized they couldn't handle it
