Caught some testing on 141.8100MHz which is licenced to Orangeville Fire. NAC is 499 which matches their existing channel.

They referred to an Operations 2 and then popped up on the existing channel of 151.3850MHz.

TAFL shows TAFL Search Results which references a 2 site system. 6 frequencies in total so it looks like a 3 channel system.

Yeah, they have new hardware at the water tower in Mono to give better coverage that way. I also heard paging on 154.505 as the primary pager frequency last night, & they have a bunch of new frequencies registered to them:

141.66000
141.81000
149.59000
149.71000
154.50500
160.08000

I've got them all on a scan list and I'll report my findings as I monitor. I'm going to have to reprogram the G5 when this is all done. It was a lack of reception of a page yesterday that alerted me to a change, then they popped up on OPS 1 to acknowledge the tone-out.

Not sure why they didn't port over to the county wide DMR system, but they do patch together when providing or being provided mutual aid.

I'm curious to know what will happen when they move to the new station within a couple of years, hopefully a nice tall tower to improve in-town coverage in this bowl of elevation which is Orangeville.

Can confirm the paging is now on 154.505 (162.2) and the initial acknowledgement of the call.

141.81 is P25 with 149.71 as the input, so likely site 2 at 43.9314895,-80.0499666
141.81 is also on the water tower at 43.906618, -80.141557 based on TAFL. I'll try to confirm soon if both sites are active, my guess is yes based on signal strenth, I'm closer to the 2nd water tower than the first. I'll also try to nail down Ops 1 / Ops 2, etc.

They did mention a 2 site simulcast so it makes sense they're transmitting from both water towers.

151.3850MHz was referred to as Ops 2 when I heard them.
