Can someone please explain what frequencies these are? I remember reading an article a few years ago in Pop Comm. I believe these are military interplane frequencies for AF1/AF2?
Thanks. I'll have to check that out. Anybody remember that article in Pop Comm? I think it was written by Steve Douglass a few years ago. It mentioned several military "interplane" frequencies below. I threw out a bunch of old Pop Comms awhile ago....now I wish I had kept them!

Every once in a while guys will use those, but not very often. Your best bet is to search when you hear guys coming through. Much of the publicized info is fairly inaccurate.
My best guess or WAG is any freq list over 2 year's old is totallay inaccurate.
I base this from what I see on my dB. The 25 split's between 225 and 380 has changed my dB completely
making most published freq list outdated.
The Your Dictionary.com defines "Orderwire" as - A circuit or channel used by technical personnel for coordination and control functions relating to activation, deactivation, reconfiguration, reporting, and maintenance of communications systems, networks, and services.
That is a term I haven't heard since I worked Private Line Data for AT&T back in the 80's & 90's.

Then on the other hand, there's some freqs that you would think would change constantly, but never do. But I think that's because they have so many other completely secure modes available to them, they just don't care. In a combat environment, the known ones could almost be used as a disinformation tool if they really wanted to.
