That is the same OSFM list from 4/13/2015. The "Chat" channel is for the local agencies and will very from dept/dist.

Like a lot of list I review before writing templates there is some outdated info and incorrect names.

Without going back to look at the list a few of the things I recall were no CTCSS on the OR ST SAR ORANGE "SAR ORG" should have a 156.7 CTCSS on encode, that was added back when we went narrow band. The NAT SAR (National SAR) is labeled as FED SAR, the OSP names have been changed years ago. State Fire Net "FIRE NET" should not be labeled as xxxTAC Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to nit pick, but when you are dealing with outside agencies it is best to have the correct channel names to avoid any confusion. After the Biscuit fire OSFM required fire agencies to go to plane language because of confusion over codes being used.

I see this kind of issues all the time with my job and spend a lot of time reviewing templates before we program new radios.

n7maq-1 - thanks for the reply. Seems like some changes need to be made to the RRDB then - if someone can confirm them somehow.

I looked thru the 2021 Oregon State Fire Plan last week. The only freq I saw listed there was 154.28.

Every fire will have a different radio plan. The only OSFM channel is State Fire Net at 154.280 and all others are a mix of frequencies depending where they are and what agencies are on the fire.

Wayback Machine - the OSFM 2015 radio plan is still online on the state website as of 8/13/2021 - and it seems to have all the same info as the Rogue Valley document
