OS X Scanner Programming Software?

Hi --

Can anyone recommend software for programming a Uniden scanner on OS X? I current use Proscan to program my scanner on my Windows based PC but I have migrated to a Mac Mini to stream my scanner feed on Broadcastify and I would love to be able to also program the scanner on the Mac rather than needing to connect the scanner to my Windows based PC.

There is nothing officially supported by Uniden.

It's virtualization or emulation. Success with that will depend on what hardware you have on either end of the cable.

I realize this is not a "tech support" forum but I am hoping you can help me out - I installed Parallels and connected my scanner to my Mac Mini and enabled access to the port in Parallels but Proscan shows the port as being in use so I can't program the scanner. Any thoughts on what I may have done wrong?

Under Devices you have to add a serial port which points to your MacOS device.
