That's the thing to do now isn't it? It's funny how all of these local agencies secretly compete with each other like that. If one agency goes to all LED lightbars well then the neighboring agency always seems to come up with the money to convert their fleet too. It doesn't matter if all strobes or whatever look cool too. Heck, there was a trend a few years ago with a few smaller departments where each officer would have his own particular dash light. They were always trying to out-do each other. Good times, and several hundred dollars were made off of that. I wish I could kick start something like that again.

Let me 1st tell you all something for the 20+yr's my father worked for OCSO he never was issued a patrol car and never wanted 1 either . Matter of fact he had his POV and he hardly ever had to use his old school red dash light and never had a siren installed . Everyone else in the dept was issued a car which were the crown vics or chevy impala .
