I need someone, anyone, in Houston County with a 396T for some field testing. I need to verify if I need to send mine off for repairs or not. The reception is just horrible and I figure if a official's portable can get great reception even off 247 then I know something is wrong. Ask your question in the Uniden forum. I think that you will find many others with the same complaint. The 396T is the reason I waited for the Pro-106 to come out. Have had it since the beginning of Nov/08 and love it. It almost is surgically attatched
