Owensboro going digital?

Heard a lot of activity on TG 01377 over the weekend. Was being used by the new convention center.

I am looking into upgrading to digital scanning. What handhelds do you guys recommend for Owensboro P25? I have read pro's and con's on PSR800, BCD396XT and Pro106 scanners but would love to hear from people who are actively using them here in Owensboro. Size really isn't an issue and all programming would be done on computer. Thanks!

I'm using a Radio Shack Pro-96 and it does everything that I need it to.
