I noticed on Oxford County Fire 154.070 agencies are coming across with a pl other than 192.8. I know 154.070 just licensed as a repeater frequency ULS License - Public Safety Pool, Conventional License - WQMK711 - OXFORD, COUNTY OF - Frequencies Summary, I am wondering if each repeater site will have it's own PL so agencies don't have to monitor countywide traffic. Anyone know?

I believe I saw a plan that called for a simulcast system which would use a single PL or DPL. Even if it wasn't it wouldn't make sense to have different output tones because you would end up with people walking on each other. Notice how the York county UHF repeaters all have the same output tone. If it wasn't simulcast then the inputs would have different tones. Was the traffic you heard actually coming through a repeater or was it just simplex? I haven't heard anything about them bringing the new repeaters on line yet. I would think that wouldn't happen until the spring/summer.

Just as an FYI, I am getting PL 110.9 here in Gray, Maine right now at 354pm EDT Monday. "Fire Alarm to radio maintenance" was heard.

UPDATE 357pm:
They ID'd themselves as WQMK711 and just said they are all set with radio checks with "radio maintenance"

Hope this helps in any way.
