Due to the recent flooding I tried to monitor the Oxford PD and FD. I found the FD but not the PD. The listing on Sentinel says the PD operates on CLMRN but I could find no listing for it. Does anyone know the Oxford PD frequencies?

Oxford is a Resident State Trooper department. This is why they operated on Troop A.

Oxford borders both Troops G and I, sometimes, not often, following the flooding you'd hear them interacting with other Troops.

They refer to them as AC cars, I listen all the time. They don’t talk much but I think they’re like AC32,AC42. I’m not really sure what numbers they use for Oxford. if anybody knows the car designations could you let me know?

So those are the Oxford cars? What about the other RT towns, do they use the same designations or do they just use a trooper?

In the CT State Police "resident trooper" towns, the local officers are called "Constables" for the most part.
Radio call is the Troop + "C" (Constable) + their individual number. The numbers are typically assigned in order for a town...
Bridgewater - Troop A + C # AC 6, AC 7, AC 8
New Fairfield - Troop A + C # AC 10, 11, 12, 13
Southbury (Switching to their own PD) AC 60-80ish
Oxford Troop A = C # AC 30-55ish
LC #'s Troop L
BC #'s Troop B,
you get the picture

Prospect and Beacon Falls are Resident Trooper towns under CSP Troop I. Prospect officers use IC#s in the 20s and 30s; Beacon officers are in the IC 40xx sequence. Bethany is also a RST town. Not sure if Bethany has a local officer ("constable.")

You’ll hear them referred to as “108” cars on Troop A’s channel, usually something like “Troop A to a 108 unit” when they have a call. Their callsigns are in the high AC30’s to the low AC50’s. I don’t think they ever have more than 3 units working at a time but I could be wrong
