Understand.
For the most part on WISCOM, transmissions have come from the Spring Prairie and Darien sites.
They are both located in Walworth county close to me..
Most everything that I hear on WISCOM is from the Wauksha/Milwaukee area.
The majority are state police transmissions and some med flights.
I only keep WISCOM on to varify that my scanner is on and working.
It's the P25 phase 2 from Walworth county that gives me nothing,
There are only 7 frequencies on the Walworth county system.
Have them and only the TGs that are verified on RR loaded.
Once (if ever) I get the Walco P25 situation figured out.
I'll fine tune and delete all out of range frequencies.
I appreciate your help.
Good luck on your keyboard issue.
Hope to here from you again soon.
Again, Thanks!

I am looking to receive all of the listed TG's in the data base.
I'd be happy to just get unintelligible reception, I could fine tune that.
My TRX2 receives nothing. It doesn't lock on to any signal at all.
It just keep scanning like there is nothing there.
I've selected digital noise when the unit detects an encrypted TG.
I've loaded the whole Walworth county P25 data base from the Whistler site.
Including these unencrypted from the RR database but still get nothing.

As I have said, my 436 receives all.
On my TRX 2, I have tried all antenna suggestions from an outside antenna to the paper clip.
I have moved the radio around the room and to different rooms in the house.
It will not lock on to anything.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Please try the following to reduce issues with your Simulcast system.

Collapse the antenna to its shortest length, then lay it horizontally behind the scanner
Apply attenuation to the Trunked System so that only the system is attenuated (other objects are not attenuated unless individually selected)

Nope. No luck at all.
I tried the latest suggestion.
I turned on attenuation and shortened the antenna and laid it horizontally behind the radio.
I would be happy if I got distorted transmissions, I could work with that.
I loaded everything into the radio using the Whistler software database.
The suggestions that I have received seam to be all directed at clearing distortion.
Thinking my problem might be unique as I get nothing.
Radio just keeps scanning like nothing is programmed.
Not sure what is going on.
It receives the Wiscom P25 with out a problem.
Been hearing many Wi state patrol and Med flight transmissions.
I will contact Whistler support directly.
Maybe I'm missing something.
If I could work with them on the phone, they can walk me through a step
by step process and possible got to the bottom of this.
Thanks!

I don't see any problems with the programming. The WISCOM sites you are receiving are VHF. Your scanner may have problems with 700 and 800 MHz frequencies. Try reloading the firmware. You may be having severe simulcast problems with the Walworth system. It may be unable to Auto Fill the trunking tables from the control channel. On the WISCOM system, try locking out all of the sites except DOC Sturtevant, DOC Racine, and DHS Union Grove in Racine County and see if you can receive anything. Those sites are 700 and 800 and not simulcast.
