Hi all,

I picked up a Home Patrol II to check out the digital frequencies in the area and I'm having difficulty programming the scanner for it. The issue is with any P25 system I select, I get an error saying "All channels that are in range have been avoided. Change the service type selections, your location or the range setting, or review and remove some avoids". I've verified nothing is avoided, my location is correct, and the right service types are selected. There's no issue with conventional frequencies.

I'm trying to listen to Simulcast G (among others) and put it in a favorites list by itself through Sentinel. I'm well within range of Simulcast G since I'm in Peoria, so I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding how these digital systems work or if there's an issue with the scanner. Thanks!

Did you set it up with your zipcode and set the range?
Yes. Also manually entered coordinates because I found entering the zip code didn't place me correctly. I've tried various ranges but it's currently set at 20mi which should be in range.

Check your Service selections, to see if those you want are turned on ?
Those are on as well - at least for the frequencies that allow it. I have a favorites list with k-deck channels and fire-tac and fire-talk are selected. Simulcast G doesn't allow me to select any Services for some reason.

Here are some screenshots of my Simulcast G config in case something's wrong:
