I have my SDS200 P25 systems set to use filter Wide-Normal and it works fine. Now that I have my SDS150 which does not have a settable filter, I can hear P25 transmissions on the SDS200 but the SDS150 seems to delay from receiving the same channel. I've tried to find a way to match my SDS200 settings, but have not had much luck, so i still get the "distortion" sound on the SDS150. Note: My P25 system when downloaded by Sentinel and written to the either SDS scanner shows it as a P25 Phase 1 system and FDMA, however when i look at the site in Radio Ref, it shows it to be a P25 Phase 2 / TDMA system. When I set the SDS150 to P25 TDMA I dont hear anything, so I've set it back to FDMA...

Sorry if my post doesn't make much sense

If you have enough signal strength you can try and enable the attenuator. All cheap SDR receiver chips benefits from being run at lower signal levels as they overload so easily and then loose sensitivity. Also try both FM and NFM mode.

Set the system to P25 Trunk, which covers both Phase 1 and Phase 2. Do not use X2-TDMA which was the Motorola implementation of TDMA before the P25 Phase 2 standard was finalized. A system in the database may show as P25 Phase 2, but the talkgroups can still be Phase 1. A "D" in the Mode column indicates Phase 1. A "T" (TDMA) in the Mode column indicates Phase 2. Before you write to the SDS150, go to the Tools tab in Sentinel and set the Target Model to SDS150. Try using Intermediate Frequency Exchange (IFX) on the site frequencies in the SDS150. It is located under the Miscellaneous tab in Sentinel Profile Editor.

You are confusing the new Control Channel settings in the SDS150. P25 TDMA is for the new TDMA CONTROL CHANNELS only.
As far as SDS200 goes my SDS150 hears better than my SDS100's and SDS200's connected to my Antenna Combiner which shares my 1 antenna to all my scanners at the same time.
How are you comparing the SDS150 to your SDS200?

If you're trying to "sync the audio" on 2 scanners , it will almost always have a delay in one or the other.

If you're saying a possible reception issue, do a site hold on both scanners, turn the volume down on one or the other and go from there. As it was mentioned, you might have to turn the attenuator on the 150 as it's far more sensitive than the 100 and 200.
