I can't seem to get this thing configured correctly. I am hoping i can return it if it wont suit my needs i just got it yesterday

I'm sure they guy who puts them together will get back to you here. I have really not seen any complaints about this product, so a bit more patience than usual may be required.

I'm glad to see that you made it to the RR forums. If the video link I sent didn't help, then please give more details here with the issues you are having. I'm sorry there is not more documentation to help. The software/firmware is in such a state of flux that I have not been able to get the documentation up-to-date. If you are truly unhappy with the purchase, then please contact me via the email that you received during the purchase/shipping process. I will refund your purchase.

I would suggest giving the P25RXII a chance. I was an early adopter of the P25RX and it had it's stumbling blocks but I knew it was a work in progress. I am glad I did not bail because the product has become fantastic and very pleased with it. Todd is fantastic with his continued firmware updates!! His customer service is great, I have not found anything close! He has always been responsive to any issues, quite frankly I don't know if the guy sleeps 😁. Then, if you don't think it's going to work for you I am sure Todd will make it right. šŸ‘

I had a P25RX back in the fall of 2020... it didn't work well for me so I returned it... Todd was more than gracious about that return. Now that over a year has gone by and the P25RX-II was introduced and there have been nearly daily software updates, I'm gonna buy a P25RX-II as soon as they're available, hopefully tomorrow.
