Right here...
KAT

KAT was owned by Med-Trans the same group that owns Wings air rescue up in NE TN, but I think it was just recently sold. I don't have any good contacts up that way anymore.

kat is now owned by phi and they have a 400 meg company freq..... but i can't find it in any of the databases i use.... they no longer fly out of lexington--just moredead and london..... there are a bunch of freqs listed in southern ky listed to rocky mountain holdings (rocky mountain helicopters does the lifenet choppers) but nothing that looks like a med evac chopper company freq in the eastern third of the state... one day i will be near enough to one of their birds when they are talking with dispatch to search them out....

brandon: i know this doesn't have much to do with your inquiry... has any of the preceeding stuff helped?

The choppers based out of Paducah share the same frequency as Mercy EMS...

154.3850 with DPL=703

You can hear them do a lot of status/position updates.

Saturday night both unit 21 and 22 responded to an incident at the I-24/Western Kentucky Interchange.

Landing Zone coordination is on the appropriate county's fire/ems frequency.

Contact with Lourdes or Baptist is on 155.3400
