Palm Beach County School change setup?

I used to be able to listen to my kid's schools, or any, based on the freq's here. Yesterday I was reminded of this when their bus was almost 30 minutes late. I could have heard them at the school mention that so I would not have to bother them. Turned on my scanner, and it seems they changed systems a bit. Now, all the school frequencies sound like data and full receive all the time. I do remember the school getting new radios with 2-4 channels each. I wonder if they changed to a trunked system or something similar.

Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like your scanner is listening to a data channel on a trunking system. I'm sure Mark would know. GARY N4KVE
