Why did palm beach county scanners go offline after that tropical storm, I still have palm beach county fire rescue though just not the police scanners.

Storms, ae lighting, high winds, etc. can knockout power and cable lines used by the local radios and computers which are streaming the audio to the RadioReference servers.
