Just upgraded my previous filter HPN-30118 (30 Mhz High Pass and Notch for FM) for my scanners listening to the aeroband.

I bought the PAR Electronics VHF Bandpass Intermod Filter that basically filters everything before and after the aeroband frequencies and what a big difference or improvement. I called up and believed I dealt with the owner that provided great technical support.

Received the unit a couple days after and unit is well built and comes with sheet of the plot when tested. I get no more interference of any type from 118-138 mhz. previous to this there was FM, Two-Radios, Digital Tones and they are all gone. I'm using a Dressler Active Antenna and can hear ground transmitters that was not previously possible.

I highly recommend these filters.

You probably spoke with Dale, the owner.

His customer support is second to none in my opinion.

That would be Dale that you're working with and he's a wonderful guy. I've been working with him since about 2001. Depending on the setup I would run one of his filters in front of a Stridesberg distribution amplifier to feed 4 or 8 radios. He's got a lot of money from me! But he's easy to work with and he puts out a very good product that is not only affordable but effective. As I get into serious aircraft monitoring your messages Timely. I do have an intermod filter for that band but not by Dale.

Yes I agree will you'll Dale provides the best customer service/technical support and produce a great product with documentation of the product being tested. His prices is just a bit over the unknown filters without documentation.
His filters are just $10 more than the unknown filters being sold.
