Not exactly radio related, but curiosity is killing me and I can think of no better place to ask.

Is any agency currently hiring Paramedics in Colorado? If so, are any of them actually paying over $15 an hour?

I am nationally registered as a paramedic and am getting tired of EMS here. Want a change.

Thanks,

WM

I've been seeing a lot of new faces with AMR in Pueblo...so some kind of turn over going on. The FD just hired several of their people.
I have no idea what they pay, but you may want to check with them.

AMR is usually hiring statewide. They have the 911 contract in El Paso County.

Your best bet is to go for a fire department position. DRCOG hires for the Denver area except for Aurora and Denver. Aurora has a class going now. Denver has Sheridan in a mini academy and is expected to have a class early next year but they will be hiring from an existing list. They are found on denvergov.org/civilservice

And of course your just an EMT with DFD they don't utilize paramedics.
