Passaic County EMS radio system

Is the Passaic County Sheriff EMS going to be switching to a different system? I don't have a phase 2 scanner, just listen on Broadcastify sometimes. Everybody calling in is being told they should "switch to the new system." I was listening here Sheriff Dispatch/Passaic County Group Calls Live

Is the sheriff's office going to a new radio system? And are the ambulances going to be moving as well? Thanks!

I get the annoyance. But if somebody needs to listen, they'll find a way, it's just a matter of cost. This just keeps everyday people from listening which isn't doing anything for safety.

A matter of cost? Do you have any idea how hard it is to brute force AES-256?
