Pats Peak Racing Ops

Was in the Henniker area today and I heard a ski race at pats peak. It was not on their repeater system but rather on MURS 1 (151.82, NFM, CSQ/No Tone). Sounds like all race operations do not use the pats system. Will be sure to submit this to the database.

Update: They are also using MURS 3. So probably won’t submit to the database but at least it’s known here.

Several school ski racing teams utilize "walkies" for their staff and students. It's possible that is who was on the hill the other day.

Yeah that's what I heard. I think they are under the impression that they are programmed into the Pats system based on what I heard. An interesting notation however is that it sounded like data was being transmitted over MURS 1 (as they where using it). Probably some clock system as well.
