Paypal??? Errors out...

I was trying to reup the premium membership for 2 years, and Paypal punts,,, here is what I sent to Papal Customer Support. If someone knows how to solve this, it will be appreciated. Thanks.

"I am not a Paypal member. As a guest, you allow payment with a credit card. I have a Discover credit card.

"Using Discover's Web site, I first generate a secure account number with exp date and CSC number.

"When I enter that secure number, date and CSC into the Paypal form, I get an error message:

""The billing information and card verification number entered does not match your credit/debit card. Please verify that you have entered the correct billing address and card verification number for your card."

"What is wrong with your system? Please advise. Thank you."

Billing Address

Working at a place that does credit card transactions. An error message like this is when you aren't providing the proper billing address, usually a zip code is off. Make sure you call your card company and check what they have on file for a billing address. Sometimes it's different from what people think it is. Hope this helps.

Ah, fixed. I've only had the card for more than 20 years. Discover changed the use of generated secure account numbers to a one-off use, rather than allowing a generated number to be used more than once. I wasn't aware of the change in security, and had used the same secure number for a magazine sub placed earlier today. My bad.

This is why i still send in a check, i had similar problems last year.

I just sent it in and it will be in the mornings mail Lindsay for my next year.
