I didn't notice that we now have a fire feed.

I can take away the fire channels.

But it's sometimes cool to hear how PRP and fire work together on a scene.

Hey guys. Me and alot of local peel residents appreciate all your doing to keep this up.
Just wondering how come PRP is offline and will it be back up? Ive been really considering buying a scanner to host it but i dont want to run into problems and not be able to host it. Plus if it was already being hosted it saves me $400 :D.
once again thanks for everything

I Believe the PRP has been dropped, its alot more work to keep a feed up and running and PRP will be harder due to audio issues. As like most police you get some cars that are quiet, then the dispatcher will be normal then another officers will come in very loud. A feed depending on what your going to supply shouldn't be over $100 radio cost and your cost of bandwidth (mine has not been effected on internet feesl). For PRP you will need a radio with AGC to control the audio gain. Radio Reference hosts the feed so the only monthly cost is your internet use. Also you will be tieing up a computer or at least the sound card on that computer unless you use a second audio card which i may try later on...

My Feed runs off a Motorola portable so that's why its not online 24/7, I will one day grab one of those cheap Radio Shack trunker radios to use on the feed and go 24/7.. Maybe in Sept....
