Thank LosRio. Again when the medic was talking to the hospital he said the female had been shot by police and they were on the way and to get a trauma room ready.
She wasn't shot by officers.
If she was, a couple of things would have happened:
First, you would have heard a countywide all-call for a police action shooting. The message would have alerted the officers that a PAS occurred, the location and to reference a CAD number for more information. It is policy that the all-call occurs in any PAS incident. One did not occur that night.
Second, the crime lab and command van would have been rolled out the scene for investigation. They also weren't rolled out.
The medics were wrong over the radio. They either heard or had wrong information at the scene or were busy triaging during the transport and misspoke over the radio.
Trust me, if it were a PAS, the media outlets would have been all over it. It would have been a story for days, like the one that occurred Wednesday evening.
I know for a fact that news crews were on the scene that night and were told what occurred. It was a suicidal female and she shot herself during the incident. That's why it wasn't covered.
