Since the database on here is in accurate can someone provide me with the conventional vhf freqs that are used there for security/police and fire.

Sure,

Security Forces - 163.5900
Fire - 173.5650
Medical - 150.315

Someone should probably delete the old UHF system and note the new one as being unused...

Don't bother trying to listen to the Security Forces, they use DES. you can listen to the FD, if you are close to the base. Med channel is the med used by the Milatary Ambulances in the area, but Peterson uses AMR for all of their Medical transports since the clinic doesn't have an ER.

I figured they must be secure.. Because for 4 days now.. I haven't heard one thing on the security force channel.

These days the Peterson Security Forces dispatch is NOT encrypted any longer, but the patrols/gates are encrypted.

Almost everyone else who uses that trunked system is unencrypted (except maybe OSI).
